UPDATE Post 8! For those that do not know...

I may be a bit MIA for a little while. I PROMISE that no matter what I will keep up with the challenge. Other than that, I'm not sure how active I'll be.

Yesterday morning, I woke up DH and we headed to the ER. It was confirmed that we'll definitely lose pregnancy #5. However, they also found something in my left fallopian tube (which is what was causing my pain that caused me to go in). At this point, the OB (and ER dr) are not sure what we are dealing with in the tube. Of course the main concern is that there is a second baby. I have to go back to the hospital today for more testing to have another look at things and to see what my hormone levels are doing. I'm not sure what to expect today's results to be. We'll come home after the tests, but there's always that chance he'll call us and tell us to go back for admission. (He thought about admitting me yesterday.)

Even if what's going on in the tube resolves itself, we will be requesting a D&C (for testing purposes) so I will be dealing with that as well.

I'm so sorry sweetie! I know I don't know you personally, or even that well, but I've seen you around JM before, and know this just isn't what you need. I hope you get answers, and I'm sending strength, and hope for you and for your future miracle!

I just realized I never updated here. Sorry ladies! I returned to the hospital Saturday for follow-up testing and was admitted pretty quickly. We were pregnant with heterotopic twins. By 7:30 that evening I was in the OR for what was supposed to be a laproscopy/ectopic removal and d&c. Unfortunately, due to the location of the ectopic, he was not able to go in laproscopically. He ended up making a c-section style cut. They were not able to save my tube and also had to take a small portion of my uterus.

On Dec. 31, 2011 Samuel Kenneth and Kathrine Anne joined their siblings in Heaven.

I am home now (came home yesterday) but am still in A LOT of pain. DH will be doing a lot of the work for my egg dish this week. (I wasn't playing for points anyway.)
