A facebook conversation with Ashley (Tithen) has sparked my interest.
Which lettuce(s) do you like?

Romaine!
We eat Romaine and Iceberg.
We also eat red cabbage, radicchio (apparently that's the way it's spelled augie.. since I didn't get a spell check thingy) in bagged salads.

Red leaf is my fave. I also like endive, radicchio, and frisee.
We use a lot of the "mixed greens" packs you can buy at the store, because of how easy it is to just grab and go.

I'm not too big of a lettuce fan. If I have a choice we eat Romaine, but it is usually iceberg that is in the fridge.

Radichio is my favorite. Arugula is great too.

I use a lot of spinach too. We use it for burgers and tacos instead of a lettuce.

I don't like iceberg. I usually buy green leaf or romaine. And I pick out all the hard crunchy parts I used to get the bagged salads for convenience, but just lettuce is so much cheaper and stays fresh longer.

Spinach is our go-to. I like arugula, but I find that it's expensive. I've bought romaine on occasion, but usually if I buy romaine it's because I'm planning to use it for Cesar salad.
I'm not a fan of iceberg lettuce. I can eat it and can find ways to make it somewhat enjoyable, but overall I find it kind of bland and it doesn't keep as well. Nutritionally, there isn't a whole lot in it, either.

I love spinach, but I can't eat it. Apparently there's a chemical in it (and broccoli) that inhibit your body's ability to absorb the thyroid hormone and since I'm ALREADY deficient, I just avoid it most of the time (occasionally, I do, but not on a regular basis) {unless it's cooked, but I don't generally like cooked spinach}
I usually go for romaine or that type.

We eat iceberg, my 3 year old loveeeeeeees fresh spinach though, he will eat a bowl with ranch dressing every day, its his fav lunch. Im proud
We buy Romaine but its only for Chalkie & Socko (The bunny & guinea pig) as iceberg is bad for their tummies.

I buy the box of baby spring mix greens, sometimes the mix of greens and spinach. It's super convenient to just grab a few handfuls and throw some leftover meat on top and other toppings and some oil and vinegar for lunch.
