Do you marinate meat often? Do you use store bought ones or make your own?

I do not marinade steak, I cook it too hot in a cast iron pan.

I marinade pork loin in home made rosemary lemon.

I brine baby back ribs in Dr, Pepper and salt.

Chicken I prefer plain but I used to love me some shillings grill mates in some ginger chinese flavor but it has been years since I have seen it.

I have always been a "dipper" in the way of sauces so I am not big on marinades.

We use Dales marinade on steak, but have not used any since I've started searing it. We will be switching to the low sodium version of it once this bottle is gone since the regular version has an ingredient that dh can't have (MSG)

I don't marinade very often (as in, I can't remember the last time I marinated something). I usually go with rubs if I'm doing more than basic seasoning. It's an area I'd like to get more familiar with, so definitely list your recipes and ideas!

I don't think I have ever marinated anything. It is definitely something I would like to try, I am just scared of trying a marinade that none of us like and wasting the meat by not eating it.

I've made a few and bought a few. I generally love marinades but don't do it too often. We marinated deer steak in A1 a few days ago. It was actually really good.
