Do you use much salt in cooking? Do you add it afterwards?

If a recipe calls for it then I usually use it. I will also use just a little to season my meat when I am cooking it.

I use it on meats and some things like eggs and mac & cheese. I don't use it a ton. I actually just switched to Sea Salt from regular salt.

I actually cut it out of most recipes. I add it to potatoes, some pasta, and a rare veggie. That's about it. I used to put it on EVERYTHING.

I use kosher salt in most things. It's how I was trained and I think knowing how to use salt properly to enhance flavour is a good thing. I don't usually add more on top at the end (only for some potatoes, corn on the cob, etc) and I don't think I use a whole ton in normal cooking (not compared to my chef instructor anyway) but it's certainly a staple in most things I cook.
