Ever find yourself in a cooking rut? How do you get yourself out of it?

Sometimes. I find that it helps to ask friends for ideas or to flip through old meal plans to see if there's anything that I've forgotten about.

I am in one now, I got some cookbooks from the library to inspire me. I also look through my 52 weeks of cooking gallery.

I'm in a rut, but not a "I don't know what to make kind" more of a "I don't wanna go near the kitchen" rut.

when I am in a rut I go to the ethnic groceries in our area and ask a bunch of questions and have someone help me find something new and they tell me how to cook it. We have always enjoyed the experience and the store owners love to share their knowledge. I also am a farmers market freak so you can get great ideas by just talking with the farmers.

I get in a rut every summer. It's just so hot in Texas that I don't want to cook.

I use Pinterest now A LOT for inspiration.
