Do you make freezer meals?
(Here is a site where they talk about them: A Turtle's Life for Me: Freezer Meals on the Cheap)
If you do, what kind of things do you make? Do ou have any recipes or sites that you would like to share?
If you don't, is this something you would be interested in doing?

I used to do the cook it once for the month for about three years. We stopped when Scarlett was born because DH get tired of having the same each day of the week for the whole month. (like meatloaf every Monday for a month) Even this way I get enough variety by making some adjustments.

Any way the last time I did a big freezer meal cook was right before Beau was born because we had a big schedule change and DH would not be home to help much before dinner.

I documented everything for my DDC. Step by Step to 2 months of frozen dinners

Not really. Usually it's just dh and I here and with me not working right now I have the time. I would really like to learn for the future, though. I'm going to creep your thread, Nicole.

Great thread Nicole!

Do you make freezer meals? Kind of, sort of. I've got a couple recipes that make more than we can eat that I divide into 2 pans freezing one and eating the other. (cheesy potatoes, Cavatini, Tator Tot Casserole). But I haven't done the cook 1 day for meals for a month thing yet.
(Here is a site where they talk about them: A Turtle's Life for Me: Freezer Meals on the Cheap) She referenced the cookbook Don't Panic-Dinner's in the freezer in her post. I am actually thinking about adding it and the more dinner's in the freezer book to my wish list.
If you do, what kind of things do you make? Do you have any recipes or sites that you would like to share? Right now just cheesy potatoes, cavatini, tator tot casserole, and lasagna.
If you don't, is this something you would be interested in doing? I would really like to do about a month worth of meals and spread them out over the course of a couple months. I think that it would be great for those busy days or even a substitute for a planned meal if I ended up not having time to fix what I had originally planned.

Here are the cookbooks mentioned above:
