I have tried this one and really like it!

Play Dough

Ingredients:
1 cup all purpose flour
1 cup water
1/2 cup salt
1 Tablespoon cooking oil
3 teaspoons cream of tartar
food coloring

Instructions:
Mix all ingredients in a pan. Cook on low heat, stirring frequently. When dough pulls away from the sides of the pan and begins to form a ball, it is done. Do not overcook.

-----------------------------------------

I have not tried these yet, but would like to.

Finger Paint

Ingredients:
1/2 cup cornstarch or dry laundry starch
1/4 cup cold water
1 1/2 cups boiling water
1/2 cup soap flakes
1 Tablespoon glycerine
Food coloring

Instructions:
Put the 1 1/2 cups water on to boil. In a saucepan, mix together the cornstarch or laundry starch with 1/4 cup cold water until the starch is dissolved. Add the 1 1/2 cups of boiling water, stirring quickly and hard, and cook over low heat until the mixture looks shiny (about 3 minutes). Take the saucepan off the heat and add the soap flakes and glycerine. Stir in well. Divide the mixture into as many containers as the number of colors you want. add food coloring to each of the containers - a little at a time. Stir the coloring in first, then decide if you want to add more. Cover tightly to store.

----------------------------------------------

Gloop

Ingredients:
8 ounces white craft glue
1 cup cool water
1 cup warm water
1 1/2 teaspoons borax powder
Tempera paint

Instructions:
Pour the glue into a large bowl. Add cool water and stir until blended. Add a few drops of paint and stir until well mixed. Set this mixture aside. In a small bowl, stir together the warm water and borax powder until the powder dissolves. Slowly pour this mixture into the glue mixture, stirring continually for 2 minutes. Knead the gloop with your hands until it's smooth and stretchy. Store in an air tight container.

---------------------------------------------------

Silly Putty

Ingredients:
2 parts white glue
1 part liquid starch

Directions:
Mix the 2 parts glue with the 1 part liquid starch. Let dry before using. Store in an airtight container.
