I'm definitely more of a soup person than a salad person.

I love both but I'm picky with salads so I'll always choose soup when out.

Salad here! I rarely get a soup when we're out unless I do a soup and salad combo for something light.

Salad is always the choice for the first course ... but I do love a soup and salad combination

I love both, but I only like home-made soups, so in terms of what I would order when eating out, definitely salad. But at home, soup and salad are equal.
