I wanted to share my grandmother's recipe for noodle kugel, a Jewish dish. So here it is.

Noodle Kugel (for 6-8)

Ingredients:

2 eggs beaten

3 T sugar

¼ tsp cinnamon

pinch of salt

½ lb egg noodles, cooked and drained

1 cup shredded tart apples

¼ cup raisins

¼ cup nuts

4 T melted butter/margarine

Combine eggs, sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Add rest.

Place in 1.5 qt greased casserole.

Bake at 400 degrees until brown (½ hour)

Please note: this dish falls apart if you cut it while it's hot. So the trick is to cook it halfway then put it in the fridge overnight and then cut it and then cook it the rest of the way.
