Update on us!
Marcus is doing great. He's still way behind in speech, but he's catching up. I'm pretty sure he's got dyslexia (it runs in my family and he's got tons of signs) but they can't test for it until he's 5. Whenever I bring it up, I get dismissed and it's frustrating. Once he's 5 you can bet I'll be pushing for that test! He's doing really well tho. He's finally started responding when I answer questions and interacting with shows like Mickey Mouse and the like. Recently in the last few weeks people have been able to understand him too! Just the other day at the grocery store I met someone who was going to sell me some scentsy stuff and after we got done with intros, he clear as day said "Good morning!" to her. I was blown away because he'd never said that before and she understood him perfectly! I've been working really hard on it and he'll be starting speech soon so hopefully he'll be caught up before he goes into kindergarten. I don't want to send him to school with the way he's talking now as he's extremely difficult to communicate with and I don't want him to be made fun of either.
I don't think I've ever posted on here when I had Jamesen. Maybe I did, but I don't remember. He's talking so much more than Marcus did and is actually almost at the same level as him! Makes me so proud and yet so sad at the same time haha. He's a beast. He just turned 2 in July and he's been in 3T clothes for awhile. He's almost the same size as Marcus. I get asked if they're twins constantly. Doesn't help that I like to match them, haha! He's finally starting to branch out of his "I need mommy every minute of every day!" stage and is finally going to Sabe a lot more, which Sabe loves of course. Gives me a little break too which is nice!
We recently found out we're having a little girl as well. I'm 18 weeks. This pregnancy has been kicking my butt! The other two were easy and not so bad but this one.. i've been super sick and just so exhausted I can barely function! It's gotten better since I hit 16 weeks tho and I usually only puke once or twice a week rather than 3 to 4 times a day as before. We're excited to have our girl and this will be our last!
