From the time Jorja was a small baby, probably when she first became sick at 6 months, she has been chronically anemic. We had her on iron supplements many times, and she could never get her iron levels where they should be, not to mention, the fact that they constipated her worst then she was already constipated. I gave up the supplements long ago, because it was just too constipating. As you know, in July, we went dairy free. I can go on and on with the changes in her but the biggest and best news of all is what I received today. She is NO longer anemic! We had some bloodwork done, I had a feeling her levels were much better then they had been. Today we got the report back, and I cried. I'm so happy that for the first time in her 4 years of life, she has normal blood.

That is AWESOME!!

I can't imagine going through what you went through for 4 years.. I'd be a huge basket case.. It's been a roller coaster ride for me with my youngest.. Allergies are horrible.. I know there are days when I look back and think, what if.. Would things be different.. But it's a learning experience. I'm knocking on wood here, but this is the first winter my 2 year old has been normal..I know Fishysticks can relate, we were going through something similiar with our youngest first few months a life.. Roller coaster ride!
