Do any of your LO's take dance lessons?
Isabelle is a little ballerina and she loves to dress up. I tried putting her in a ballet class a year ago, but she was very clingy at that age and I just had Miranda, so she wouldn't stay in the class for more than 10min. She came running out crying that she wanted mommy and that was it.
Lately she's been asking for ballet so I decided to put her in a class at the community center to try it out and see if she'll be okay by herself now. We are starting tomorrow and she's really excited.
Allie took dance (ballet, tap, jazz) last semester through our local community program. I am actually going to sign her up again today for this semester. She likes ballet best and loves to pretend to be a princess
Maddie is in a combo class (tap & ballet). She seems to like it, but sometimes asks not to go. She loves rollerskating class. There are many 3 years olds that aren't ready for the dance class. The teacher actually asked one to switch classes and there is one that I would be surprised to see on stage for the recital. I think 4 is a good age for following directions and becoming independent.
