[Jorja is about to become a BIG sister!


Ok, no, I am not pregnant. My 17 year old niece is. She is due April 16, and is giving up the baby. DH is very close to her, when she was very young, she was like his baby sister. We have stepped up and offered to take the baby, to keep the baby within the family. She will be able to see the baby whenever she wants, and babysit the baby whenever we need a sitter.

My kids are so excited. I had no idea this was in our cards. I have nothing for a baby, and have very little time to prepare. We are team green for the first time, and I have no idea what to buy. I have saved very little from the kids, and no big things, like a crib or anything.

There is still a possibility that our niece may change her mind, but at this point, I really doubt she will.]
