Hi ladies--
i'll be honest- I am not a mother. However...I literally have 13 females that I truly consider to be best friends.(3 sisters, 2 cousins) and In the past year and a half...6 of them have given birth and the 7th is due in November!!!

Of course- I am the only single one in the bunch and when I say single...I mean not even currently dating! Anyhoo- I am super blessed and in love with all of them. Im surrounded by beautiful babies!!

Ok- enough rambling....I lost my job a couple of weeks ago. I am already committed to hosting a baby shower for the good friend who is due in Nov. Im in charge of choosing the invites etc....I found one last night that is ADORABLE!!!! And since I am unemployed-- I have alot of free time right now- so I have time to plan the party. There's one problem....Im sort of unemployed & low on cash.

So basically- I want to host this party and do alot of the planning for it. But I am on an extreme budget. How do I approach this subject with my friends?? Do I come up with an amount that I will be able to spend and suggest that we put our budget to a total where everyone would pay that same amount? I have no doubt that they will be very gracious about it. But it turns out that I had $$ issues last yr at the same time (man I seem like I loser) and they just didnt even ask me for money. It was never spoken of in front of me. I never said a word- but I knew they did it on purpose which was so sweet.

I am just wondering how I can help everyone out by getting alot of things planned while Im free with not seeming like I am just expecting them to pay more money than me. I think I may have answered my own question above. But I would still like to get your thoughts
Thanks in advance!!!!
