We usually take 2 week long vacations and 2 mini vacations a year.

We take at least one vacation per year (-- also take some extended weekend visits back to my parents place.

We normally don't take one every year, but the years we do we end up taking several. We just had a short vacation, and we'll be going on a long one to the coast in July. We are also planning one or two more this year. It probably won't happen again for several years, though. lol

We take about one a year, at least a week long. Then a few long weekends in Prince Edward Island (about 4 hours from us).
