I'm not a mommy yet, but I quit working when I got married. My degrees are in writing, so I do write, but I don't really count that as a job because I'm not very disciplined about it and haven't really tried to sell anything in a while.
In the past, I have worked part time in food service and housekeeping when I was in high school, college, and grad school. Before I got married, I worked full time for the court system for a few years. I worked for a couple of judges and I also worked in Juvenile Probation.
I'm a paraeducator and a program director. Full-time. Going back to school, also full-time, either this semester (hopefully) or starting back up in January. But I will probably drop my program director job unless I can get more hours with it.
But I'm off for the summer, which has been nice.
i work part time as a restaurant manager, but it's literally right next door to my house. it works out because Nate (full time job a quarter mile from our house) puts all of his money into savings, and we use my check as our weekly play money- and by that, we go to dinner once a week, buy a pack of diapers, and see how long we can stretch the remaining 80ish.
