Maybe, but only under certain circumstances, like I suspected they were getting into trouble, etc.
I most definitely would if there was a reason that warranted it. If the child started acting out or their demeanor changed, then absolutely. If the child can't/won't communicate with you some of the things that they have going on, then you need to go behind enemy lines and get what you need to help your child.
Voted! And I def would if I suspected something was going on. I would not just pick it up and start reading because I was bored. My mom said she never read mine and as I got older I thought maybe she did BUT if she did I would have been in alot of trouble so now I don't think she did. lol
