My dad has AS, and I can talk to him, but I don't know any women IRL with AS. And it is even harder to find mom's with AS even online, since most don't get diagonosed until much later in life.

Do you have anyone to talk to IRL?

My doctor.... if that counts. I mean, there are people I can talk to... but they don't understand the extent of what I'm going through... so it doesn't really "help"

I wish I had someone IRL that knew what I was going through, and I could talk to them. Maybe I'll meet someone some day.

That is awesome!!! Very exciting! I thought about trying to find an RA forum, any suggestions (if you know of any).

Lots of people post on Kickas.org that don't know for sure if they have AS, if you think that might be a possibility it might actually be useful to talk to them. It is not set up as user-friendly as JM though. My username is Skittles4you on that forum.

My mother has an RA & Fybromyalga. So I can go to her when I have questions, and my grandmother has arthritis too, so I have a pretty good family support system.

I don't really have anyone to talk to.

My SIL was dx with RA recently but she is on this kick about eliminating her arthritis with eliminating gluten and dairy and spending all this money on a leaky gut test in Sweden.

I have Still's Disease (or so we think) and it's a combo of arthritis and major systemic issues.

It bothers me that she thinks I'm making myself sicker by not eliminating all these foods and suffering on pumpkin and fish like she is.

I do wish I had someone to talk to.
