I take Volteran (sp?) which is an NSAID for inflamation, I have to take prilosec with it, because it is bad on the lining of your stomach. I also have Norco as needed for pain, which I take very little of lately, I have just been dealing with the pain. I haven't had insurance for two months and it is like $60 for a 2 week supply! I was on Enbrel before my insurance started switching due to job changes and such. It didn't seem to be helping much though, and the shots hurt like HECK! I mean I get shots all the time at the Dr's office for antiinflamitories, but man the Enbrel one was KILLER.
Right now I give myself Lovenox injections twice a day, taking my prenatals, baby aspirin and a calcium supplement. Thankfully I'm off all Lupus medications! All I have to say is THANK GOODNESS FOR INSURANCE! I picked up my last Lovenox prescription for 42 injections, my insurance saved me $4200!!! Ridiculous!
