I'm just wondering if anyone here has EDS? There's a good possibility that I have it, and I was wondering if anyone else here did too.

I am not sure if we do have anyone. What is it (sorry I haven't heard of EDS, or maybe I am just not thinking straight this morning, its been a long week) we have a great group of girls for support though. No one else her has what I have, but its nice to have girls that just understand your struggles and difficulties. Its a little quiet lately, but they are still around.

Its great to have you join in. My name is Sara, and I am the host. Let me know if you have any questions, or it can help you with anything.

EDS is Ehlers Danos Syndrome. It's often misdiagnosed as fibro or RA because the symptoms are similar. But some forms of EDS present also with hypermobility - joints dislocating, being "double jointed", fragile skin, ect... which I definitely have. It's more genetic and hereditary than other autoimmune disorders.

Well we have a few girls with RA. I am trying to get back on and PM some of our old girls to see if we can get things going again. I hope we can find someone that has some good advise for you!

Well I just found out (ooops) the EDS is not an autoimmune disorder. It just presents as one.

Well, we aren't kicking your out anything lol. I hope you will stick around if you can get some support from the girls. We can use all the people we can get to keep this group going so we can get the support us moms with disabilities need!
