I've had type 1 diabetes for 32yrs and was diagnosed with CFS a little over a year ago although I've had it for around 10yr. Anyone else have either? How are you handling everything?

Hi Rebecca!!!

I can say there's another Rebecca that was in ttcal that had diabetes who had a successful pregnancy and birth. She had to control her diet and take shots I believe.

I have diabetes, they think it is Type 1, either way I'm insulin dependent, I use a pump. I also have MS. I might be the Rebecca you are thinking of.

I was diagnosed in the fourth month of my first pregnancy, sadly my son was stillborn as a result of going untreated. This time around I was on insulin, carefully monitored, and delivered my son without him ever experiencing a diabetes complication. You know me from the NICU board so you know he had issues, but not a single problem was related to my diabetes.

I love my insulin pump by the way.
