Just when I think I'm doing really good, I have to have something else happen. Ugggh. I wouldn't mind being sick so much if the meds would work consistently, but of course they don't. Just needed to vent.

You mean there are ups?

Just me venting, too. My joints hurt so much they wake me up at night but painkillers don't work at all, and I can't try anything else because I lost my job 6 months ago and so far haven't been able to find another. So I'm in physical, emotional, and mental pain right now. Not to mention EXHAUSTED all the time.

So yeah, I'm tired of it all too.

I hear you! Prednisone is my life saver as painkillers don't work for me either. Not to mention I'm not supposed to take them because of my gastroparesis. I hate to be on it, but it is a very cheap drug which is nice. $4.00 at wal-mart. I've been trying to whittle down the pricier drugs I take because I don't know how much longer I'll have health insurance.

I don't remember what type of auto-immune disease you have. I have lupus, and glomerulonephritis.

I'm not sure what I posted, but the current diagnosis is Primary Sjogren's. There was a time when I could have had CREST scleroderma, and I think technically I still could have, but I don't have the symptoms to be able to say for sure.
