Auto-immune diseases are so complicated...and it seems that doctors many times have less answers with our illnesses as we do. Lets help each other...what auto-immune illness do you have? And how long since being dx?

I was dx with Ulcerative Colitis(UC) in 2002....form of IBD..so my immune system attacks my colon,in this case.

I was dx with Multiple Sclerosis(MS) in 2006...with MS the lining around my nerves is being attacked by my immune system. Everyone with MS is affected differently, which is why doctors become so confused with this one.

It's so weird to have your own immune system attacking you...like a foriegn object.

Oooops, I posted something like this without seeing this. I'm sorry. LOL
I have Systemic Lupus. I was diagnosed in May 2006, and got pregnant in June at the recommendation of my Rheumatologist.
I get Kenalog shots, but not while pregnant. So far, this pregnancy has actually helped the inflammation. I have days where my hands, knees and ankles hurt but overall, I'm doing really well.

I have RA ... was diagnosed in April of 2006. I was being treated with Prednisone until I found out I was pregnant and then it was discontinued. We were about to start disease modifying medications when I found out I was pregnant.

I've had a few flare ups during pregnancy but overall it hasn't been too bad
