Thanks ladies:-) Heather1628 from my playroom made this siggie for me...she does AWESOME work!!! I had the blinkie made in blinkies forum...jack's Momma made it for me...very special request
The other day my legs were very weak and had actually given out on me. They buckeled from behind my knees...like an electric shock and forced me to the ground. I have been nervous to fall again since. At least I was home in my bedroom when it happened and I grabbed my bed...so I wasnt technically hurt...but the feeling, electric shock...yeah,that wasnt pleasant.
Anyway...as I go off into another story...LOL...I began using the walker around the house to get the kids used to seeing me that way...in case one day I feel too weak and need to take the walker out with us someplace. Well,Emily has been studing me,watching me like a hawk. So I asked her if it bothered her to see me walk with help. She said "no"...but it "does embarras me a little"...I said "what does it mean to feel embarrassed inside,Emily?"...she said "you know, when your different and all the kids laugh at you because you are different". So,I explained to her that we are ALL different....this is the way that God made Mommy and I am STILL MOmma with or without a walker. And if I go into a wheelchair someday...thats OK because I am still MOMMMA inside! She asked if I would always be her best friend and I said OF COURSE!
So that would be the story behind the blinkie

My nieces are a little embarassed by my sister. They thought it was awesome when they went to Disneyworld and she rented a scooter. That way they didn't have to wait in line. But I can tell it upsets my older niece a little, she's 11 and so self conscious as it is.
She told them about the same thing you did. It doesn't matter how I walk, limp, or drag myself along I'm still your Mom and what I say goes lol.
I know my two oldest daughters get embarrassed. Especially when I have gas and can't help letting one out. I honestly try not to do so but you know you can't help it at times. And then when I am limping or can hardly move because I am hurting seems to bother them some.
