Do you use the same pharmacy everytime you get a rx filled? Do you like it there? Do you ever use coupons(like from target-$10 gift card when you have a rx filled?).
I used to go to walgreens for everything with my prescriptions. They were always really nasty to me,not quite sure why After they made a HUGE mistake,by calling my MIL to tell HER I had a rx waiting to be picked up...I STOPPED taking my rx's there. I felt it was a huge invasion of my privacy. I mean...my MIL???? Come on! And they never even called ME! So,now I go to drug mart for everything and they have been super nice! I am soooo glad I made the switch. Dont get me wrong...When I see a coupon for those gift cards with a rx filled...I jump on it. I love free stuff, gotta get the meds anyhow

I use a local pharmacy in town. They are actually lower than the drug stores like CVS, Walgreens, and Rite Aid. Walmart doesn't accept our insurance which is really crazy because it is one of the major insurance companies in Alabama. The pharmacy is super nice and alway helpful. It is family owned and run and everyone knows everyone. If I have a question or concern about something they can always answer it. I even had them check Gwendi's sores to make sure they were healing okay with the meds. Also one thing that our pharmacy does is that they have a big bucket with medicine containers and you can put money in the capsules to have someone who can't afford their medicine get their medicine. It is really nice. And there have been times when David and I needed our medicine but didn't have any money and they let us pay later. You can't beat that. So yes I love our local pharmacy.
We have to use the mail order pharmacy through our insurance for any maintenance meds, and they fill them 3 months at a time. In a way, its mmore convenient because you don't have to get refills as much, but you ARE paying for a 3 months supply at once. For things like antibiotics and stuff that we only take for a short time, I get them at Wal greens. They have always been absolutely wonderful.
