OMG! I cant believe him...dork! Thank goodness no one was hurt...

So....we have spent a good part of the day outside cleaning up the yard, cutting off the dead from rose bushes,etc.. LOTS of weeds, half grown trees, rose bush clippings...we put it into our fire pit in the back yard. Not a big deal,we just were going to let it burn. HA HA...We cant have a small little fire...oh NO,my husband decides it needs a little gasoline on it. All of a sudden the gas can caught on fire and my husband starts doing a dance trying to stomp it out...no such luck. All of a sudden we have like 15 small fire patches all over the yard. I ran inside and threw the trash out of the can and started filling it with water...ran outside with it and saw my husband nephew(25 yrs old) laying on the ground with fire next to him...I thought he was on fire and started dumping water all over! Didnt help much,so I get the hose and sling it over the fence to the back yard. Once I get back into the back yard again I see the fires are put out and everything is fine. We have a ton of burned grass patches back there...but no one was hurt. I told Joe he isnt allowed by a gas can again unless he is putting gas in the lawn mower and he isnt allowed near a lighter, unless lighting his cigerette

I just cant believe how stupid he was being with gas and fire...last summer he caught our new cedar fence on fire because he emptied hot coals by our fence. I've had enough excitement for the month...

Oh my gosh I would have been freaking out. He definitely needs to stay away from lighters. You had a heck of a day.

I think he needs to stay away from fire, gas, and matches. And is he related to my husband?
