I go to one now. My insurance covers it. I don't know if you have insurance, but if you do, maybe they have some sort of plan with a chiropractor. it's goo to ask because things change with insurance companies a lot and they don't always give out warnings of those changes.
I enjoy it. I usually have pain in my upper back, and it has really helped to control that. It also helps with headaches and other muscles pains. Even tummy aches and limb pain. If you can go, I'd recommend it strongly! That and a massage. If you do want a massage, get a massage first. It makes the chiropractic adjustments go so much easier since your muscles are so much more relaxed. Some chiro's like to think the adjustments should go first, but trust me, do the massage first. Being a massage therapist myself (former massage therapist), I can tell you honestly, that it makes all the difference doing the massage first.

Ok,that's good to know...I have two insurances actually,I just have this weird parnoria about me that gets weirded out when strangers touch me. I think I would be OK if someone came with me. I have terrible upper back and neck pain. Thats what is causing my tension headaches,I think On Monday I am going to call around and see who will take both of my insurances...

I saw a Chiropractor twice a week for several months. Unfortunately he was out-of-network on our insurance policy so my parents had to pay out of pocket. It really helped my sciatic nerve and back problems. I've done a few too many horrible things to my back from dance/gymnastics. I need to go see him again...
