Grrrr I have been up now for the past 1.5 hrs because of this dang acid reflux! I took a generic acid reducer earlier, but still the laying down is killing me! I normally get terrible reflux while taking prednisone and I need prilosec....but I havent taken that in probaly two weeks. Apparently I still need it.What a stupid reason to be awake

Awww I'm so sorry! Does it help any if you prop yourself up with pillows while laying down? I'm sorry you have such bad reflux and it's keeping you awake. Maybe drinking water will help.

I'm awake because I feel sick and I'm a total insomniac!

I ended up drinking several glasses of water and went back to bed. My daughter was sleeping in bed with me last night and she hogs everything, the bed...the covers and the pillows. LOL...I would normally get up and sleep on the couch propped up...but Joe was there because of no room in the bed
