I had heard of Celiac Disease when my Grandfather was diagnosed but I didn't know much of anything about it. All I knew is people with Celiac couldn't eat certain foods. I didn't know any of the specifics. I had to do a lot of research after being diagnosed because I needed to know more than I did.
With the Ulcerative Colitis I had NO idea what-so-ever what it was. I thought I was dying, never had I heard of it before. It took ALOT of research to understand what was going on,because Dr's tell you nothing.
With the Multiple Sclerosis I knew Montel Williams had it. But I knew NOTHING about it either. When I was in the process of being dx,once I learned MS was a high probality I read alot of MS books and learned.
