Sometimes my skin hurts. Mostly the skin on my fingers,or even more so my fingernails. Some times my skin on my hands hurt so bad that I have to hold my hands in fists and not touch anything. My finger nails will hurt so bad that I need to trim my nails as short as they will go. I have had other areas of my skin hurt, like my upper back and shoulders. Not just the muscle...but actually my skin. Yesterday my fingers and hands skin hurt all day. Does this happen to anyone else? I have not mentioned to my DR because I am woried he will just think I am crazy....any thoughts about this are welcome!

Nope, not weird. Did you know that the skin hurting is one of the first things that occurs before some people are diagnosed with an AI disorder? And in psoriasis and scleroderma, that is the main symptom.
My hair hurts sometimes. So I know that sounds strange, but my doctor told me it's not really my "hair" hurting, but because hair can fall out due to Lupus that my head is actually hurting. It just feels like my hair.
Bizarre. I feel like I'm in the freaking twilight zone sometimes.
