Not my hands or face this time. But these past couple of days,my feet have been going numb and tingling. I wonder if my Flip Flops have anything to do with it....buyt I am doubtful, since they go numb even without them. I havent been over heated. But under stress...so maybe thats the reason...

My hands and feet go numb all the time. Typically my feet are a shade of red/purple instead of a "normal" skin color. My doctor says it is peripheral neuropathy and is associated with my AI. He also said I have killed many nerves in my feet from ballet. I guess standing on pointe barefoot on concrete was a bad idea.

I hope your feet get better.

Are they still numb and tingling? Maybe you should call the doctor. It doesn't sound good if it's still happening. Maybe have your husband massage them? That might help...

My ballet teacher was hardcore and said if your feet don't bleed, you aren't doing it right. We weren't allowed to use a shank, pads, or pointe shoes. We had to do pointe barefoot on hard floors. Eventually you just kill nerves in your feet! I am so glad I don't do ballet anymore...
