As some of you know,my sister is getting married on October 5th. She has been engaged nine times and finally she says this is the guy for her. We will be meeting him this weekend for the first time, they are coming from Illinois to stay with my parents...should be interesting. I really do think this is it for her...she seems very content and she actually sent out invitations...so it's never made it this far.
We were planning on driving...not stopping we could get there in 8 hours. But we would HAVE to stop because I cant sit that long,I get waaay to stiff. So it would turn into about an 11 hr trip We finally...after much thought and search within ourselves decided to get airline tickets. We will be leaving on October 4th and return October 7th. Both ways, there and back we will have a layover. We have to board a smaller aircraft to get into their local airport(smaller)...which she said is about 5 minutes from where she lives. So...it is worth it,I believe.
Only thing...I am very clausterphobic and deathly afraid of airplanes. Joe has never flown,ever...so he wont be much help to calm me down. I think some time this week I will need to call my Dr and see if she can rx something to CALM down my nerves before flying. Otherwise I will most likely have a panic attack. I dont think this should present a problem...do any of you?

My brother is scared of flying too. I'm not a huge fan either, but mine is really more during take-off and landing. I've never taken anything, so I don't have any advice for you there. The only reason I would see the rx being a problem is if it didn't go well with something you are already taking.
I asked my doctor for anxiety pills when we were flying this summer. A 14 hour flight seemed like it would be too much for me. I had them and didn't take them. I don't think your doc should have a problem, mine didn't.
