Do your kids have them/use them for homework assignments? Are they provided by the school or do you need to purchase them?

All my kids have one for homework assignments and it is supplied by the school however we pay for them.
You get your first one here in grade one.
Eliza is in college and she got one this year too. Emily is in continuing education to add to her french skills (or lack there of) and she also has one.
Its standard issue here. But like I said its not free.
10 bucks a book.
So I have spent this fall alone on agends 70 bucks

They provide them here at school from middle school (6th grade) up. They used to have to pay for them, but now they are free.

I am surprised our school doesn't surcharge you for expected loo waddage usage.
I mean really. We are nickeled and dimed at every opportunity.

They are required for grade 4 and up. We have to buy them from the school.
