Greyson did go trick or treating, but not to very many houses. He went with a friend from his school (we live in a different neighborhood than his school is in) but they only went for about 45 minutes. Totally different than when I was a kid, when I would go for 2-3 hours. lol Then we took him to the grandparents' houses and then he went to a few houses on our block before we quit.
We did not hand out candy b/c we weren't home until about 8:30. I feel kind of hypocritical having my child go trick or treating but not handing out candy, but what can we can we do. *shrug*
I do think there were less people handing out candy this year...at least by the time we got home. We hit our block when we got home, granted it wasn't until about 8/8:30, but only about 5 or 6 houses on our block had their lights on.
