Outside we have a 6 ft star that we hang on a tree at the top of our driveway. We hang icicle lights on the front edge of the house, hang green pine looking garland with bows on the rails of the front porch and have lighted motion deer in the yard.
inside I do a village scene on my entertainment stand and place a few snowman etc knick knacks on shelves. I have several wooden decoration with lights that I place around the house. I get a new one each year from a Christmas craft fair. There is a specific husband and wife team vendor that I buy them from. Things such as a 3 foot wooden snowman, 2 foot wooden candles, 2 foot wooden Christmas tree, 2 foot wooden snowman, 4 foot wooden "north pole" pole and a 3 foot candy cane.
Do you decorate the outside of your house for Christmas? If so, what do you do? This year we put colored lights instead of icicles around the front of the house, then I have gold stars hanging from the porch and I have some lights on the bushes. Not sure what I'm doing in my windows, typically I have light up snowflakes but thaat goes with my icicles but since we didn't do those I dunno.
Do you decorate the inside of your house for Christmas? If so, what do you do? Yes, random items. I have a light up Christmas village, candles etc.
