Does your preteen/teen have your full trust or have you had issues which have caused them to lose some of your trust?

we have some serious trust issues going on right now. It seemed to start when he got to middle school and we thought we were passed it but apparently not. He ended his 6th grade year with stealing and lying...7th grade pretty good, but here we are in 8th grade and we are sneaking, lying and stealing again...let's just say he no longer has a door on his room

Yea we have a bunch goin on as well...Brittney likes to play sides to get her own way..sumtimes she tried to get on daddies side so she lies about things n vise versa. The only good thing is in my house we live in the woods and nothing and no one is walking distance lol

I feel like I'm really blessed in this regard. We haven't had any major trust issues so far. Meagan has lied to me a few times but it's usually over little things like finishing her homework or doing her chores. She knows she can't get away with anything with me or her father so mostly she doesn't try.
I'm not sure it would even occur to Abbey to lie to us. She's just not that kind of kid. (Of course I say that now.... Ask me again in a couple years.)

I'm with Anna, I'm pretty lucky with Ari. I've not had any issues really. She has little attitude here and there but no lying etc. Her sister is what will drive me insane.. let's pray she never hits teen years

We've got trust issues, though not severe- yet. I am worried because he lies every single time about things he shouldn't have done in the first place. We live in a rural area now so he can't get into much trouble, but I do worry when we get back to a city the kinds of situations he'll put himself in since he will not follow safety rules.

Were lucky, we dont have any trust issues. Small things like half-done homework that ive been assured is "all finished", "yes I cleaned my room" and my personal favourite "Mum can I borrow this? I promise I will give it back"

But nothing serious.
