Does your preteen/teen get up in the mornings on their own or do you have to nag and nag to get them out of bed?

Does your preteen/teen do their homework on their own or is it a struggle to get them to do it?

I get them up, but I don't have to nag them just go in their room and yell time to get up

They do their homework because school life would be hell if they didn't!

They get themselves up.

I dotn take responsibility for their homework, thats their responsibility and any problems that arise from not doing it they have to wear.

David has always gotten up really easily and gets himself going. Sometimes I have to do a count down to when we are leaving the house so he makes sure he gets everything done before the last minute

I finally let go with checking his homework and making sure it was done this school year (8th). he's on his own with it and if he doesn't do it, it's on him

I definitely have to nag them to get them up in the mornings. Sometimes DH has to nag me to get up in the mornings. We are just not morning people.

As far as homework goes....

She's pretty good about getting herself up, DW will usually poke her head in or knock her door to make sure she's up, she usually is. I on the other hand either can't sleep or can't wake up.

I usually ask her if she has any homework, or what she's working on, if she needs help, that kind of stuff. But it's her responsiability to get it done and get it in. As I point out to her, in college, no one holds your hand. But she likes to get it done right away so she has more free time.

School days I have to wake her up weekends/summer she gets up on her own around 9 generally

Does your preteen/teen do their homework on their own or is it a struggle to get them to do it? most of the time she does it on her own!
