Do you get any form of communication from your child's school regarding events/happenings/grades/lunch account balances etc? If so, how?

Lux and Sunny's school has a fortnightly newsletter that they take home with them.

Both schools send home notices for anything important.

Yes if her balance is low I get a notice. I can also check the website for any of that information via the parent site.

Grades I can't access but can email teachers.

There's a monthly newsletter with all relevant info for the coming month in it. No lunch accounts as such, they have a card which they can put money on in school to pay for lunch, but they tend to go out of school for lunch so don't use it much.

the middle school does daily email and we have a parent site called Powerschool that I can check his grades, attendance, lunch account balance and any discipline issues.

The kids teachers are great at keeping us updated. They all have our email address and keep us posted on any missing assignments and their progress. We also have the option to email the teachers to find out how things are if we just want to stay on top of things. We LOVE it!

Almost everything is done through the website and e-mail. They do send some paper stuff home but not much. We love how connected we are with the teachers. E-mail is a wonderful thing.

Brittney recently switched schools and we had a meeting yesterday and I was advised she is failing English and Math They are thinking it is just because of the transition and her learning disability. Yesterday they told me about a site where I can check her grades and stuff so u can believe I will be on it.
