I did baskets for all three of mine. Tesla wanted no candy this year so I mixed it up a little for her but the boys enjoyed their candy.

We also colored eggs and had an Easter egg hunt but most of that was because of Isaac who is 7. I was actually surprised because I thought Dannie would rather hide the eggs but he and his best friend decided that hunting was what they wanted to do so Tesla hid them instead.

Do you still make an Easter basket for your preteen/teen? Yes. All the girls get one. My mother always sends them a new piece of jewlery (nothing expensive) to put in the basket and the rest of it is stuff like lip gloss, hair accessories, etc... and just a little candy.

Do you still color eggs with your preteen/teen? Yes. They still love coloring eggs.

Do you still do an Easter egg hunt? We have a big family Easter party every year with an egg hunt for them and all their cousins. Meg and Abbey don't hunt for themselves anymore but they love helping the younger kids. 20 kids this year! 120 eggs!

this was the first year David did not want to color eggs. I did them with Hailey at our last girl scout troop meeting so she was ok with not doing them at home.

we stayed home this year so no egg hunt either as my n laws do that for the grandchildren and mine are older that they didn't seem interested in doing it. I also did a flashlight egg hunt with my girl scouts so Hailey got her fix there

I don't really do baskets anymore. Both kids got a movie that they had either asked for or mentioned they wanted to see and a small amount of candy

My youngest died eggs with me and went to a hunt. Ari helped with the dying some but did not participate in a hunt. She did get a basket, both girls usually get some candy and other little things- Ari got nail polish, flip flops and a book.
