About how much time does your preteen/teen spend in the bathroom to take their shower, do their hair etc.?

Do they take their shower at night or in the morning?

Abbey takes her showers at night and doesn't usually take very long in the bathroom getting ready in the mornings. Brushed teeth, a clean face and a pony tail and she's good to go.

Meg on the other hand.... She takes her showers in the mornings and would spend hours getting ready if she could. Usually dealing with her hair. I don't let her wear makeup to school except for special occasions but if I did she'd be in there forever!

A ridiculously long time. We have a rule, as there are 7 of us and only one bathroom, bathrooms are only for showering and brushing teeth, any hair, make-up, preening, making kissy faces in the mirror must be done in the bedroom mirror.

Lux isnt too bad, she's a bit of a tomboy so she really dosent fuss so much, if she is doing plaits though they must be perfect, no stray hairs, no bumps, she will pull them out four or five times before she is happy with them.

Sunny, Dita and Azriel are all equally as particular about their appearance, and can take up to an hour 'preening'.

When my teener takes a bath, it would take her all of 30 minutes and then some before she finishes.

Ari showers at night. She takes a decent amount of time. But I get my time in before I get the girls up and Natalie only needs to brush her teeth so right now its okay lol

They shower at night on school days (whatever time of day they want on non-school days). Rheiya is in and out in 15-20 minutes, Elijah would stay in there for an hour if I let her and that's just in the darn shower!!

I really can't put a time on any of them ... I think my youngest (9) spends more time in the bathroom/in front of the mirror than the tween/teens!
Le (12) - it's getting to be more and more but I think some of it would be done in his room if he had a mirror in there
S (14) - she does minimal primping in the bathroom and most in her bedroom in front of her dresser mirror - but her showering/bathing would be hours long if we let her
N (17) - lots of primp time - both in the bathroom and in front of the mirror in her room
Ma (18) - even though she is an exchange student I can tell by her photos and skyping that she is still much like N - but her time has always been less than N's but you can't tell one spent less time on herself than the other

Do they take their shower at night or in the morning?
Everyone except DH takes their showers at night.
