Hello Everyone,

Our 5 day old has been on a bili blanket since 6 PM yesterday. He was on it until we went back to his pediatrician this morning at 8 AM. His level went from 17 to 15.

He needs to be on the bili blanket until tomorrow at 11 PM.

Last night my husband and I took turns holding Liam on our chests while he was in the bili blanket covered in a receiving blanket. We did not sleep, ensuring he was okay, being sure to feed and change often, etc.

My question: is there anyone with experience having the baby sleep somewhere while wrapped in his bili blanket? When we put him in his crib with the felt "sunglasses" wrapped around his head he moved around so much that they kept falling off... and it can be too safe for him to have on nothing but the bright bili blanket and his diaper...

Any ideas?

I don't have much advice as Robbie was on the billi blanket in the NICU. All they had on him was a diaper and the felt glasses. They switched sides and laid him on his tummy a lot.

Sorry I don't have any advice either, Bryson was the same under the bili lights in the NICU as well. Wishing you luck though and hoping you find some solutions.
