Welcome! thank you for sharing your blog with us.. you put into words very well how I'm sure many of us have felt as we watch our babies grow in the NICU..

My little boy Declan was born at 30 weeks gestation, weighing 3lbs. It was the worst time of my life, but we have come out on the other side a changed family and he is now home with us and thriving. Can't wait to read more as you continue to blog

I am glad you had all your friends and family to support you. My daughter Natalie was born at 32 weeks weighing 3lbs 7oz. They took her out because the blood quit flowing through her umbilical cord. She came home after 5 1/2 weeks weighing 4lbs 9oz. Unfortunately, since my husband is in the Army I was here in TX with no friends, no family, and a husband that had to go back to work 4 days after my c-section. i started driving 4 days after my c-section so I could go see my baby girl. Then my husband had to leave for a 2 week army school 3 days after we brought natalie home. There will be many ups and downs during the NICU stay but you will get through them and come out stronger

Welcome! Thank you so much for sharing your blog. I'm Breanne, mommy to Bryson who was born at 34wks but had severe IUGR weighing only 2lbs 7oz. Your blog brought back a lot of memories and reminded me a lot of our situation. I'm so glad that Lea is doing so well and can't wait to keep hearing more updates. Hang in there and please feel free to lean on us for support. We all share a lot of the same feelings and emotions so please know your not alone in this scary rollercoaster. Oh and I just want to say your baby girl is absolutely beautiful!! Love all the pictures!

I love that you said this... about coming out of it a "changed family!" How true! I am a changed woman, indeed, and I know my husband is a changed man. Its amazing that such a tiny person can make such a huge impact in such a short time!

God bless!
