Nattie had her 15month dr appt today - she is 18lbs 8oz (same as she was 2 months ago) and is 29 3/4 inches (so she grew 3/4 of an inch in 2 months).

Since i have food allergies (all nuts and shellfish) I asked the dr to have her tested - just so I dont have to worry at playdates and such. so he gave us the paper for that.

last month she was supposed to go for another ABR because when they were doing the final work up for the cochlear implant she passed the sound booth test. she doesnt talk much yet - PAPA (for her day), Hot and Uh oh (she just started saying those two this week). she signs eat, milk, more, baby, airplane, and sleep, waves byebye, can point to her hair, nose, mouth, and belly when asked - so they are not sure if she learned to compensate with her hearing or what is going on. anyways - no one requested the health ins auth so now it is scheduled for august 30th.

she was supposed to have her annual eye exam on monday but she had tonsilitis so I have to reschedule it.

Sounds like she's doing great! I wouldn't worry about the vocabulary, Jim's was EXTREMELY limited until he was about 15 months corrected, then suddenly he was learning new words all the time and we couldn't get the kid to shut up (he's 4 now and we STILL can't get him to shut up ).
