Are you guys where that earthquake happened? Were you able to feel it?
So excited that Roan is getting closer to finishing his bottles!!!
Fortunately my husband, son and I are in central Colorado, but my family near New Mexico did feel the quake. No lasting damage, thankfully, but definitely scary for some of our residents who aren't used to quakes.
We're hoping he finishes a few this week! If not more than a few. Can't wait to have our little boy home!
I live in Virginia 30 min from Virginia Beach so we were directly affected by Irene!
First off we felt the earthquake here as well and a lot of businesses were evacuated!
Now for Irene.....a lot of cities around us were evacuated and we actually live in an area that was considered a mandatory evacuation area but we decided not to leave because we didn't flood during Isabel. Long story short, Saturday was just windy with some rain here and there. We watched the news all day long. My in-laws down the street lost post in the am. We ended up losing power Saturday night and didn't get it back until Wed afternoon! It totally sucked! We had some huge tree limbs down in our front yard and a big tree on the border of our yard and our neighbors yard went down on their house. All in all, there wasn't that much damage in our area. There were a lot of houses that were flooded and/or had trees down on the house. We got lucky!
