Hi, my name is Brandi and we are in the process of adopting our nephew. He was born at 33 weeks to a mother that had Benzos, opiates, marijuana and cocaine in her system. Fortunately, he only tested positive for opiates and not the rest. I'm thinking the cocaine use put her into early labor. He was 4.14lbs when he was born and now a hefty 10.5 lbs at 10 weeks. We've had this precious baby boy since he was two weeks and our adoption will be final around August. I searched for this forum today in hope to get some answers to questions. He has two hemangiomas on his neck. One deep, one superficial, and some sort of tumor/bump right on the soft spot on top of his head. They have concluded it is not attached to his brain and think its a deep hemangioma caused by being born a Preemie. Has anyone had this experience? I will post a picture as soon as a figure out how. Thanks!
