Hey I am Alison, 24. I just had my son on Easter 3/31 and he was born at 28 weeks gestation. I had problems with my blood pressure before I was pregnant, so from the very beginning I was high risk. However my kidneys and liver started to fail and my platelates dropped really low. I spent a week on the hospital till I had him. I had to get blood test done everyday and we waited till the very last minute to deliver. Tucker was born weighing 2 pounds 6 ounces. He came out crying! He is almost three weeks old ( on Sunday) he is up to 2 pounds and 12 ounces! He looks so amazing and has no major medical problems.

Welcome, Alison! I'm Tiff, mom to Robbie (9 who was born at 26 weeks), Bryce (5 born at 40 weeks 5 days), Merrick (3 born at 41 weeks) and expecting a new baby at the end of June.

So glad to hear Tucker is doing so well! Please feel free to ask questions, I know the board is basically at a stand still but there are those of us that still lurk and would be happy to answer the best we can and support you through the NICU experience.
