Hi all,
I'm desperately trying to do one of the challenges while learning PSE and I have some more questions.

How do you feather the edges of an object?

Can I select all of the layers on the page and dropshadow them all at the same time? How?

Thanks so much!

To feather just select what you want feathered then go to Select > Feather and choose your feather settings. Then go to Select > Inverse and delete. That should feather it for you. I am not sure what you are asking as far as the drop shadows.

I think you can... but I don't have PSE installed to go look. Try this... add a drop shadow to one of your layers, then if you right click on the layer you'll see "copy layer style." Do that and then you can just select all the other layers (CTRL+click each one) and then right click and "paste layer style." Does that help?

Thanks...I got the dropshadow to work. It's is a little dark and harsh looking but I'll get the hang of it sometime.

Teresa,
When I click on the layer I want to feather..then go to select... the feather option is grayed out and I can't click on it. Any suggestions?

Did you select with the marquee tool what you want to feather first?
