I just purchased a pack of fonts from Sweet Shoppe. I downloaded them and now they're in a folder onto my desktop waiting to be extracted. How do I get them where I can actually use them? I've sorta done this before - I used to download fonts from the internet, but now I can't remember. Can anyone help me? TIA!
what operating system are you on? XP, Vista,etc..?
once they're extracted, you need to get the fonts into your font folder. there are a few ways to do this. here's what I do (in XP)... open your control panel, then click on 'appearance and themes.' off to the left, click on 'fonts.' this is your fonts folder. then just drag the fonts into the folder.
I use "the font thing" its a free download that searches out and installs of your downloaded fonts into your programs . THat way you just look in the same place you look for for your regular fonts as well.
Simple!! No searching, it just looks like its a regular font that came with the system http://members.ozemail.com.au/~scef/tft.html
