Hello!!! Im new here but
Im not huge on digital scrapbooking.. im more old fashion. I stick with my paper!!
But anyways.. im interested in making a scrapbook (looking) siggy.

welcome! (be careful hanging out with us though -- we've converted lots of diehard paper scrappers! )
there are several programs you can use. I have Photoshop CS3, but it's quite expensive. Photoshop Elements (PSE) is cheaper -- you can get it for less than $100 -- and will work just fine for making siggies (and scrap pages! ). some use Paint Shop Pro (PSP) also. it's affordable, but PSE is a better program IMO so that's what I'd suggest.
or you could even try GIMP which is totally free. if you check out the siggy board I'm pretty sure they have a link to GIMP in the siggy school subforum.
Hi and welcome!! Linz covered it well, I will only add that I use PSPx2 and I prefer it over the others. It does the exact same things (plus a few more controls over others) then CS3 but MUCH cheaper. They say that CS3 is more user friendly though.
