I decided to venture out of my playroom and look at some of the other boards here. I really liked this board! I just have no idea where to start.
I guess I could first introduce myself. My name is Jenn. I'm 26 and have one son who is 3 months old. I have been designing wedding albums for 2 years now, but with basic wedding album style looks. I never even thought of scrapbooking digitally. I know how to make basic templates, but have never used papers or embellishments. I would really love to learn how to make my own papers, patterns, brushes, etc.
I also have designed several Christmas cards and am now starting to design birth announcements. I would love if someone would take me "under their wing" and show me the ropes of digital scrapbooking. I wouldn't consider myself a beginner because I know a lot about photoshop, layers, etc...
Here are some examples of my work so that you can see my experience level:
This is the birth announcement I made for my son, last name changed for privacy!
Here is a siggy I made for a friend:

Great work! You should join in on the challenges, it will help with exploring different options. And if you have any questions we will help you in as much as we can. And there are tons of tutorials in digi school
Your work is beautiful!
Thanks Nicole (MommaDucks) for my new & awesome siggy.
Thanks for venturing out
You look like you've got it! I really like what you've done in the announcement and siggy.
I know many of us love to help in any way we can. As Natalie said, we have info on the Digi School forum you could check things out there.
Do you have any specific questions? I'll help in anyway I can!

Welcome! I think starting with the challenges is a great idea. There are a lot of digital scrapbooking tutorials out there too, but I have to say I have learned a lot just with trial and error too. I can't wait to see what kind of pages you come up with.
